Congratulations to all 1,310 new Filipino lawyers.

The list of bar exam passers includes Paz Lumasac-Torregosa, wife of a friend who himself passed the same examinations last year. Congratulations to them and all the others.

We should also congratulate the Supreme Court for cooperating with media websites such as Inquirer.net and GMANews.tv in the release of the list of bar exam passers.

As of posting time, the Supremee Court’s own website is apparently being mobbed by examinees and their relatives who want to check the list themselves. Both the official website and the official mirror site cannot be accessed.

Good thing, Inquirer.net (which is the source of the list posted here) and GMANews.tv swiftly posted the list of bar exam passers.

Expected to follow suit are the Manila Bulletin, ABS-CBNNews.com, Philippine Star and the Manila Standard Today.
