Goodbye 2008 — and thank you

As 2008 quickly fades away, I’d like to pause and remember to thank those to those who made my year great.

Now is the time to say my thanks.

Thank you to all those who visited this blog the whole year. There are many needed improvements, I am sure, and I’d like to make up for all those real soon. Thank you for your patronage and your support.

Thank you to all those who made possible this blog’s win at the Philippine Blog Awards — to whoever nominated this blog and the judges who saw my blog fit for the award. The Daily PCIJ, last year’s winner, is a tough act to follow — and I hope to be able to take forward steps in my own way. Thank you, really. Hindi niyo alam ang pakahulugan ng parangal na iyon. Maraming maraming salamat.

Thank you to all my friends, old and new. Thank you to Plurk for single-handedly expanding my circle of online friends. Thank you to Bloggers Kapihan and Global Voices Online for keeping the faith in “blogging with a purpose” and “blog evangelism”. Thank you to my esteemed colleagues in the press — those who do their work in and with dignity, uphold professional ethics and refuse to be dragged to the pusali and the kangkungan.

Thank you to the convenors and supporters of TXTPower and to our new friends at TEA!

Thank you to NR for the Nintendo DS Lite early this year and hope you’re enjoying your Hawaii sojourn!

Thank you to MTS and our “racket”. You’re truly a lifesaver!

Thank you to MCA, TAM, JDR, EPR and APM for the trust and confidence.

Thank you to JMT for the ace advice and continuing assistance. I’m proud and thankful of the kinship.

Thank you, too, to my Tart and my family for the inspiration.
