Asustek’s EEE PC has opened the floodgates to the entry of many new truly affordable sub-notebooks.

If you visit Compex stores in malls, you’ll find other, lesser-known brands competing for everyone’s attention.
This is good news for students and professionals who really need such notebooks very badly but used to can’t afford to buy small, really mobile notebooks some years back because they were all obscenely priced.
