Calling the bluff

Today’s Inquirer editorial says that TXTPower jumped into the Arroyo administration’s free text bandwagon “never mind if they’ve been critical of the President in the past”.

Elsewhere, a member of a Yahoogroup said that TXTPower “forgot all about the political context of the DOTC move. It naively fell into GMA’s trap”.

These criticisms are welcome and well taken. But they are one-sided and presumes that we are a bunch of gullible folks and sellouts too. Enough said for now, because I do not wish to preempt whatever the government will say or do. Ditto for TXTPower’s plans on how we intend to call the Arroyo administration’s bluff.

Had these concerned individuals (the Inquirer editorial writers and editors, as well as the letter writer) first inquired with us ahead of writing their musings, we would have given them a more complete view that we did not wish to put in our initial statement issued yesterday.
