Based on personal experience, I can confirm that Gateway Mall does provide free WIFI at some restaurants.

Update:  Tried connecting to four Araneta Gateway hotspots tonight (Jan. 22) at the Food Court but didn’t get to the internet.

Tried it while having dinner with a friend at Sachi, one of the restaurants in the famed Araneta Coliseum “restaurant circle”.

Hope the other malls follow Gateway’s lead.
