Samsung introduces dual-SIM phone to Philippine market

The end is near for the monopoly of China-made dual-SIM phones that haven’t yet caught mass appeal. Samsung has introduced its first dual-SIM phone through an ad in one of the major newspapers.

Welcome to Samsung’s D880!

Here’s a photo from intomobile:

and a YouTube video from teknomag:

Main features: dual-SIM, 3 megapixel camera, music player, triband, FM radio, expandable memory, and Bluetooth stereo headset.

Downside: No 3G/HSDPA, no WIFI.

How much? Overseas, its $700, which is still quite high and may be equivalent to two or three good phones already.
