NBI website hacked last Jan. 1?

Look at what I discovered after searching the words “Enchanted Kingdom” on the Firefox address bar:

A Google-cached copy of the National Bureau of Investigation website reveals it was hacked on New Year’s Day or two days ahead of three other agencies.

Justice Sec. Raul Gonzalez has ordered NBI director Nestor Mantaring to investigate the redirection of the DOJ, CIDG and ITECC websites, which hackers pointed to the Enchanted Kingdom website.

Based on the Jan. 1 cached copy of the NBI website, it was also redirected to the Enchanted Kingdom website.

Google said the cached copy was taken at around 7:20 GMT of New Year’s Day.

The hackers apparently lifted the redirection themselves.

Why? Well, the NBI website contains stale content, dating back to 2002, when then-director Reynaldo Wycoco was still alive.
