Body of Filipina killed in Algiers to be brought home Dec. 19

(UPDATE: DFA spokesman Claro Cristobal advised through text a change in the date of the arrival of Luna’s remains.)

The Department of Foreign Affairs has announced that the remains of a Filipina UN aid worker killed in a blast in Algiers will arrive in Manila tonight tomorrow Dec. 19.

DFA spokesman Claro Cristobal said in a text message that Lufthansa flight 788 bearing Gene Luna’s remains will arrive 7:40 pm tonight tomorrow night at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
