Everex to launch mini-laptop that’s better than EEE PC?

According to engadget, Everex is set to launch Cloudbook, a mini laptop with VIA C7 ULV 1.2GHz CPU, a 30GB hard drive, 512MB of RAM, WiFi, a card reader, two USB ports, and a DVI out.

linuxdevices.com says that “The standard Cloudbook is expected to ship on Jan. 15, priced at $400 with a 30GB hard drive. The touchscreen-enabled Developer Unit should arrive a few weeks early, possibly on Jan. 1, at an as-yet unknown price.”

Everex is the maker of the very popular GreenPC which was a big hit on Walmart.

Looks better than the EEE PC if you ask me.
