Remembering ‘Puti’ on World Aids Day

Today, I fondly remember my friend Puti, hope that everything’s fine and that HIV is not the sole and chief factor to daily life’s choices. Puti is the first and, as of now, only friend of mine who has HIV. Puti is alive and well, coping with his own condition with a help from friends, but showing no signs that the virus is hampering him from the many things he wants to do. Puti is one of four million people who now have HIV/AIDS.
