This is a special and urgent call to my readers and friends here and abroad.

I wish to ask for your help. Metro Manila and many parts of Luzon have been flooded by typhoon Ondoy (international code name: Ketsana). Flood waters have breached waist-levels in many areas, while there are also reports that entire houses have almost been submerged in water. A state of calamity has been declared over many areas. We expect hundreds of thousands, if not millions, to be affected.

TXTPower has called for Paypal donations specially from its many friends across the world as well as from overseas Filipinos.

Click here to make a Paypal donation now.  Filipinos can also send donations via via SmartMoney (5577-5144-1866-7103) or GCash (0917-9751092). All donations will be forwarded to the Philippine National Red Cross.

Thank you very much.

  1. Jehz, mas marami mas maganda. Kailangan din ng ibang relief organizations apart from Red Cross. May isa nang group na nagpapatulong/nagpapaturo na magkaroon ng Paypal account. Gusto mong tulungan/turuan?

  2. Some university student leaders who have been assisting at the ABS CBN relief center have expressed dismay at the slow release and distribution of goods. They tried to ask the ABS CBN Foundation if they could direct the goods for badly needed government evacuation sites and were shocked by the response; “ABS CBN does not release to the government or any government operated evacuation site”. Lot of goods are donated to ABS CBN and its not being distributed because; they are waiting for the availability of their stars and they are using donated goods as leverage for their network. Please pass to let the Filipinos know.

ABS CBN magaling lang kayo sa pagpapapogi!

  3. I live in Sacramento, CA and I was wondering if there is anyway that we can ship donations (food, lots of clothing etc.) from here to the Philippines?
