25 Most Influential People on the Web

US-based BusinessWeek has come out with its “25 Most Influential People on the Web” list for 2008.

As expected, the list is US-centric, with only a dash of non-Americans in the mix. But what is quite interesting is the analysis that accompanies the release of this report, which says that the internet has caused an explosion of US political campaign discourse.

But Jack Schofield of the UK’s Guardian merely called the list “another humdinger bit of linkbait”.

Also from BusinessWeek, its list of the Best of the Web 2008 deserves a look and see.
