What earthquake?

Nov. 27, 2007 2 Comments Posted under: Musings

News media and bloggers were all over themselves over an earthquake which, quite (un)fortunately, I didn’t feel when it hit Manila. I was just outside a Starbucks store chatting with an old friend and a new one when the earthquake supposedly happened at around noon today.

Perhaps the topic of our discussions was more intense than the quake. Or there were springs below the pavement that absorbed the shock.

Kudos to Bakla Ako, May Reklamo? for the roundup.

Note: JM  a.k.a. Blue Pencil Chronicles is apparently desperate (!) to be among those who felt the quake, if you read between the lines of his blog post. Nice try, JM, but I think you didn’t feel the quake too. Hehehe.
