Introducing the new DSi and the fashionable EEE PC S101

For gadget freaks only: Nintendo has come out with the next-generation version of its gaming handheld, while Asus has something nifty to offer the fashion-conscious who wish to ride the EEE PC bandwagon.

Nintendo’s DS Lite now gives way to the DSi. Here’s the full take on everything you need to know about it.

The DSi will start selling Nov. 1, 2008 in Japan; Americans have to wait until next year.  Someone has been lucky enough to see, handle and use it, and you can read about it here.

As for Asus, the big news is the EEE PC’s S101 model which is now touted as a “fashion-on-the-go” must-have.

UPDATE: Get a quick review here of the Asus S101. The BBC fellow dubbed it a “MacBook Air killer”.
